My Greatest Accomplishment

Kelsey Clan
My wife Elizabeth and I have been blessed to have a blended family of six children ranging from 5 to 19. They bring true joy to our lives. It is mostly for them that I am committed to fight for our liberties. My girls live with their mother in Maryland. My son Landon lives with me. I visit them monthly or have them out to Arizona on school breaks. The oldest 5 are in public schools.
was born in Rexburg, Idaho July 1967 , the sixth of eight children. I moved to California at one month old. My first leadership position was president of our fort house in the back yard. We even had fundraisers by collecting bottles and aluminum cans. After a unanimous vote, we would head to 7-Eleven to spend every last penny for our party. In high school, I moved back to Idaho where I got involved with the student council as Boy's Federation President. My most lucrative fundraiser was putting on the movie "Psycho" near Halloween for the entire school.
After a summer working in Jackson Hole, WY, I headed off to California to attend Bakersfield College. After two and half years of work and school, I transferred to Brigham Young Universtity for a BS in Pre-Med Zoology. I worked as a research assistant in the Botony lab to pay for my schooling. I married in 1988 and had my first child Lauren two months before graduation in 1990. We moved back to Fullerton, CA to attend Southern Calif. Coll. of Optometry and received a scholarship from the US Army in exchange for service. I served as a Lieutenant on ADT (active duty for training) in the summers. In school, I served as student trustee for the American Optometric Society for two years and Student Association President and Immediate Past President for two more years. It was here that I gained a serious interest in 'politics' and civics.
Upon graduation in '94, I was inducted into active duty and promoted to captain. My daughter Lindsay was born one month before relocating to Germany for three years. Many duties were had in the Mannheim Health Clinic including acting Optometry Clinic Chief. Here I got a first hand look at the cts of socialism. Landon was born in Heidelberg Army Hospital in '96. I also became active in leadership positions in civic, church and professional organizations.
I kissed the ground when I arrived back in the USA for my last year as Chief of the Optometry Clinic in Fort Meade, MD. My youngest Olivia was born in '98 two months before joining the Iredell Eye Center in Statesville, NC. Two years later, I became a managing optometrist for a struggling corporate practice in Greensboro, NC. In less than four years, I had tripled gross revenues. I strived for more freedom of practice and after my divorce in 2006, relocated to Gilbert, AZ to join Eye Care Professionals, a respected and established private practice in south Chandler. I have brought innovation, organization, new imaging and preventive technologies to fruition. I love what I do. I get to help people see clearer. Now, I have a clear view of 'A United Vision' for Arizona and America.
